Geelong Cats are proud to announce Australia’s oldest and most respected residential building company, Simonds Homes, has been elevated to its Major Partner from 2026.

The partnership, which first began in 2006, has been extended for a further three years until the end of the 2028 season, and in its newest chapter will see the Simonds Homes logo take pride of place on the back of the Cats’ jumper.

The Simonds logo will replace the Ford Motor Company logo on the lower back of the guernsey, which Ford has held since 1994.

Simonds Homes began its partnership journey with Geelong in 2006 as sponsor of the coaches’ uniforms, before taking on a range of key assets across the last 19 years.

Most notably, Simonds was the naming rights sponsor of Kardinia Park between 2011 and 2017, with the ground proudly known as Simonds Stadium during that time, and have also held assets such match-day ball and most recently as the Cats’ shorts partner in 2023 and 2024.

“Simonds Homes is proud to continue our long-standing partnership with the Geelong Football Club through this deal which elevates Simonds Homes to Major Partner status with the club,” Simonds Homes CEO, Rhett Simonds, said.
