The AFLW coaches votes have been announced for Round 7 and once again, Georgie Prespakis has led the way for the Cats as she solidifies her position in second place on the overall leaderboard.

Prespakis finished with 25 disposals, 10 tackles and five clearances against Hawthorn, recording six score involvements as she continues her remarkable season.

The star on-baller now has 55 votes for the year, sitting in second place behind North Melbourne's Ash Riddell who currently sits on 60 votes with five weeks left in the home and away season.

Aishling Moloney was the only other Cat to receive votes, polling two votes after a strong performance inside forward 50.

The Irish star collected 13 disposals and kicked two goals, finishing with six score involvements to have a significant impact in Geelong's forward half.

Every week, the two senior coaches for each game give votes on a 5-4-3-2-1 basis, meaning 10 votes is the maximum a player can receive in each round.

The player with the most votes at the end of the home-and-away season will win the Sharp EIT Solutions AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award.
