O'Sullivan on how he remains composed
I would say that a lot of it has to do with the fact that I have got a lot of experienced and knowledgeable guys around me.
I feel like walking into the team that we have got now, the level of expertise that I have got around me gives me that confidence.
It makes me feel very comfortable out there to just go about it how I want to go about it, and use my strengths to the best of my ability.
They give me a lot of confidence and it is great to share the field with some great names, and a lot of guys that have done all this before.
Martin on the autonomy at Geelong
I think in particular with having a young family, being able to spend time with them away from the footy club.
I think a lot of the onus is back on the player, they give us the program and we need to get it done. I think that has helped me, mentally as well to freshen up and get away from the footy club.
I had been spending a lot of time at the footy club previously with a lot of injuries, it can make you go crazy at times.
Being able to come in, get your work done and get out has helped me a lot.
O'Connor on his memories of 2022
It is funny, you actually don't remember too much.
It is nice to have that experience at least and everything that goes with it.
The parade, obviously the game and trying to bring as many people as you can to get involved. That is always important to, to try and share that experience.
I am just looking forward to the weekend.
O'Sullivan on the feeling of the week
I don't think it has really sink in yet to be honest.
Last week was a lot like a normal footy routine, it is crazy to think that 16 other teams have finished their season. I was only talking to my Dad about it before the game, it feels like we are still in the routine and playing footy.
I think it will probably hit me Friday, when we are all rolling around at the parade and the excitement will really kick in.
But right now it feels a little bit weird because it feels like a normal footy week.
Martin on what a premiership would mean
It would mean the world.
Obviously I have had my challenges, everyone has got a story and everyone has got their challenges.
But the journey from the Suns, going to Carlton and I was speaking to Jack Bowes this morning, we played three years at Gold Coast and came full circle. Now we are here this weekend, so it would mean a lot to me and my family and friends.
We know the challenge that lies ahead, they are the reigning premiers and they are a quality outfit.
O'Connor on deciding who he will play on
It probably varies week to week.
Sometimes they have an idea early in the week, and sometimes it just takes a bit longer.
There might be a fitness test or there might be something that comes to them late, so it varies week to week.
He often asks my own thoughts as well before giving me any specifics, but usually my thoughts aren't too important.
O'Sullivan on Geelong's first time Grand Finalists
It is incredible, I was only just talking about that and I didn't realise that there is nine players that are different to the 2022 Grand Final team.
To have that experience with a bunch of new guys is obviously incredible.
Like I said earlier, we have got that experience with guys that have been there and done it before, but also a lot of new guys that are ready and raring to go.
We can hopefully enjoy it all together.
Martin on his fitness
It certainly helps, that is still the main challenge for me.
Physically I am feeling good, but obviously having all those soft tissue injuries the last couple of years still plays a bit on your mind. Are you going to get up, are you going to get a niggle or are you feeling okay.
But I feel like my body is in a good spot at the moment.
O'Connor on Oisin Mullin
I remember watching him in our equivalent of the Grand Final, in the All-Ireland Final a few years ago.
That was probably the first time I had seen him, he was on the losing side unfortunately but he was unbelievable in the way he was playing and his attributes.
It was probably after that when there was rumours that he was going to come to Geelong.
Oisin was a superstar back at home, he was really the top of the top.
Obviously Geelong are pretty lucky to have him and we love playing with him.
