Earlier in the week, the AFL in partnership with the Victorian Government announced that the 2025 Toyota AFL Grand Final Parade will be held on Friday 26 September, with an elevated viewing experience and new additions to the procession confirmed for this year.

The Toyota AFL Grand Final Parade will once again see the iconic Toyota HiLux vehicles carry the Grand Finalists through the MCG precinct, with people from around the country and overseas set to descend on the area to watch from the fan friendly route, which will once again bypass public roads and provide more viewing opportunities.

2025 will see an elevated Birrarung Marr precinct with entertainment from 9.00am (AEST) including DJs and emcees to get the fans pumped up before the highly anticipated Parade makes its way through the precinct.

Melbourne Park Oval will again be one of the prime spots for families and fans to catch all the Toyota AFL Grand Final Parade action, with pre-parade entertainment starting at 9.00am (AEST) including food and beverage offerings, live music and AFL legends in attendance, before the official motorcade kicks-off with a big screen to catch every minute of the action.

The Parade also set to pay homage to the broader football community in 2025 with representatives from the NAB AFLW Competition and the Toyota AFL also a part of the motorcade.

The 2025 Toyota AFL Grand Final Parade will commence at approximately 10.30am (AEST) and will be broadcast exclusively on Fox Footy.

The Parade route will again progress through Melbourne Park Precinct to Birrarung Marr, over the William Barak Bridge and into the MCG Yarra Park Precinct, finishing at the AFL’s free Macca’s Footy Fest.

The Grand Final teams and 2025 AFL Premiership Cup will be presented on the Macca’s Footy Fest main stage at approximately midday.

Melbourne Park Oval provides an accessible and family friendly opportunity for fans to watch the Parade and is the best spot to see the players, with easy access to Richmond Train Station and public transport systems to get to and from the parade.
