Mullin on his tagging role
It is great, it is a great challenge.
It is something that I am pretty proud of, that the coaches give me that opportunity and they trust me to match up with some of the opposition's best players.
It is a role that gives me the opportunity for massive learnings as well, just to see how some of the best in the competition go about it.
If you give them any space at all, it is pretty easy to see what they can do in the game.
So just trying to nullify their impact and do a role for the team.
Mullin on his first career goal
Just seeing a bit of space open up in front, slipped into the pocket and the ball fell down.
Pretty simply threw it on the boot, didn't think too much about it which is probably a good thing.
I probably thought a little bit too much in some of my previous shots and it hasn't gone too well, I guess that one was just on instinct.
The snap was quite a Gaelic like kick, it sailed through but I thought it was going to float wide for a second, but I was pretty happy with the result.
Mullin on his parents thoughts after the game
They were loving it. They were up and about, delighted.
It was pretty cool to have them here, they were very thrilled to see it.
That would have been the third game I think they were at, the second that I have played in. They got over here in my first year, they got to see us against the Western Bulldogs in the last round of 2023.
But this was the first game where the result was pretty important to us and the atmosphere was amazing.
Mullin on the Geelong Football Club
It is an amazing club.
Geelong as a place, it is quite similar to cities at home. Obviously Melbourne is the big metro, it is a lot bigger than Galway city which is my closest city at home. It would be probably be slightly smaller than Geelong, and Geelong is considered quite small in Australia.
It has got that mix of the beaches, the country feel, a small town community which is great.
Having Zach and Mark here, then obviously the three girls as well has built quite a good Irish community, I am forgetting Cillian as well.
Mullin on the premiership dream
I haven't really thought about it too much, just looking forward to next week firstly.
But it would obviously be an amazing thing to do, it hasn't been done by too many players coming over.
Obviously Tadhg [Kennelly] had the sole mantle for years, then Zach [Tuohy], Mark [O'Connor] and Connor McKenna followed.
It would be a pretty cool thing to have.
