Geelong Cats has selected its initial squad ahead of Sunday's Round 4 AFLW clash with Essendon at Windy Hill. 

After an impressive week of the track, Sienna Tallariti is available for selection ahead of schedule, and is among five inclusions on an extended interchange, along with fellow 2024 draftee Lexi Gregor, Caitlin Thorne, Gabbi Featherston and Bryde O'Rourke.

At this stage there are two confirmed changes, with Meg McDonald and Mel Bragg both omitted. 

Geelong will confirm their final team at 5.00pm on Friday afternoon, just before Geelong's AFL team do battle in their blockbuster Qualifying Final. 

Geelong head to Windy Hill on Sunday afternoon for an important Round 4 clash, as they look for their first win of the season against Essendon.

The Bombers are undefeated through the first three weeks of the season, meaning the Cats will need to be at their best as they look to build momentum in 2025.
