Geelong has made one change for Saturday's important clash with Sydney at GMHBA Stadium.

After missing last week's match against Adelaide, Zali Friswell will return to the starting line-up to take on the Swans.

Bryde O'Rourke has been omitted and will miss Geelong's Round 3 clash.

Lively small forward Kate Surman is also set to pull on the Hoops for the 25th time this weekend.

Geelong Cats v Sydney Swans

Round 3

GMHBA Stadium, Geelong • VIC

It looms as a crucial match for Geelong this weekend, as they look to bounce back from two consecutive losses and notch their first win of the 2025 AFLW season.

Awaiting them is a red-hot Sydney side coming off two strong wins, led by star forward Chloe Molloy who currently sits well clear on top of the AFLW goal-kicking leaderboard.

Over the next two weeks the AFLW will celebrate Indigenous Round, highlighting three significant anniversaries and recognising the enduring impact and future of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our game.

Geelong will wear their 2025 First Nations Guernsey, designed by Worrora, Oomiday, and Nyul Nyul artist Meeza Humphries, with contributions from her siblings Lawson, Joshua, and Stephanie, and input from parents Jodi and Ross.
