Geelong has selected their initial squad for Sunday's Round 2 AFLW clash with Adelaide at Thomas Farms Oval. 

Five players have been added to an extended interchange including versatile Cat Gabbi Featherston, key forward Chantal Mason and 2024 draftee Lexi Gregor. 

Erica Fowler is also among the potential inclusions, as is tough on-baller Bella Smith who is looking to add to her six AFLW appearances. 

At this stage there is two confirmed changes with Kate Darby (injured) and Zali Friswell (omitted) both set to miss this weekend.

The Cats will confirm their final team at 5.00pm on Friday night, with five players to make up the interchange and the remaining three to be emergencies for Sunday's match.

Geelong head to Thomas Farms Oval on Sunday to take on Adelaide, searching for their first win of the 2025 AFLW season. 

The match will be broadcast on Fox Footy and streamed through Kayo from 3.00pm AEST, ahead of the opening bounce at 3.05pm.
