Experienced duo Cam Guthrie and Mitch Duncan are set to make their returns this weekend, headlining the inclusions for the VFL Cats' clash with Sydney on Sunday. 

Guthrie will play his first game since the Round 11 match against Gold Coast, while Duncan has recovered from a shoulder injury sustained in the VFL Cats’ game against Richmond. 

The Cats will also welcome back Jhye Clark and Mitch Knevitt after the pair featured in Geelong's AFL win over Essendon last week, while Ollie Henry has cleared concussion protocols and will return on Sunday. 

Toby Conway and Marcus Herbert will miss this week through injury, Patrick Kelly will be managed, Jesse Mellor has returned to the Geelong Falcons, while Kye Annand and Kobe George also make way. 

Geelong remains in the hunt for Finals heading into the last round of the home-and-away season, needing a significant win over Sydney on Sunday to keep their hopes alive. 

The VFL Cats will be in action from 11:35am AEST at Tramway Oval in Sydney, ahead of the AFL clash between Geelong and Sydney at 3:15pm at the SCG.
