Geelong has selected a 24-player squad for Saturday night's AFLW practice match, as they head to the Gold Coast to take on the Suns in their final hit-out of the pre-season. 

There are two additions to the Cats squad that took on St Kilda in last week's match simulation, with Erica Fowler set to pull on the Hoops for the first time, while Amy McDonald returns for her first game in 2025. 

A talented key position player, Fowler has plenty of experience at the top level having spent seasons with Collingwood's AFLW program, joining Geelong ahead of an exciting 2025 campaign and set to make her Cats debut on Saturday night. 

The practice match will be Geelong's final hit-out before attention turns to the start of the AFLW home and away season, with the Cats set to take on North Melbourne at GMHBA Stadium in Round 1. 

Saturday night's game will be live streamed live and free on the Geelong Cats website and app, tune in from 7.30pm AEST to catch all the action as it happens.
