Jeremy Cameron's extraordinary 11-goal haul against North Melbourne was not missed by the coaches, with the superstar forward receiving a perfect 10 votes for his performance at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night. 

Eclipsing his previous career high and moving to 69 majors for the season, Cameron has moved a staggering 21 goals clear on top of the Coleman Medal leaderboard with his eighth bag of four goals or more in the last 10 weeks. 

Another 10 votes moves Cameron to a total of 51 for the season, sitting just outside the top 20 on the overall leaderboard which is an extraordinary feat for a key forward. 

Speaking of the overall leaderboard, star Cat Bailey Smith has moved back into the top three after being awarded eight coaches votes for his performance against the Kangaroos.

Smith equalled his career-high with 43 disposals on Saturday night, collecting 23 contested possessions and 13 clearances while also adding eight score involvements and a goal in a remarkable display. 

Taking his tally to 74 votes for the year, the star on-baller sits 13 votes behind the overall leader, Collingwood's Nick Daicos with four games remaining in the home and away season. 

Max Holmes continued his strong run of form, receiving five votes from the coaches after accumulating 29 disposals, seven clearances and 11 score involvements against the Kangaroos. 

Holmes moves to 67 votes for the season, remaining in ninth position on the overall leaderboard. 

Tom Atkins continues to piece together a sensational campaign in 2025, receiving another three votes from the coaches after finishing with 25 disposals, five clearances and three goal assists against North Melbourne. 

With another eight tackles on Saturday night, the hard-nosed midfielder has moved to 181 tackles for the season which is a career best for him, while also moving within 21 tackles of the all time season record. 

Shannon Neale's impressive performance has netted him another two coaches votes, kicking four goals from his 15 disposals while also taking eight marks and dishing off two goal assists, having a strong impact forward of the ball all night. 

Gryan Miers rounds out the votes for Round 20, also awarded two votes after collecting 20 disposals and nine score involvements against North Melbourne. 

The AFL Coaches Association’s AFL Champion Player Award is an award voted by the 18 coaching panels on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis after each home and away game, acknowledging outstanding effort by an individual player in a season.
