Just when you thought you had seen it all from Jeremy Cameron, he produces something else that defies belief.

Not satisfied with his healthy lead on top of the Coleman Medal leaderboard, the superstar forward went out and doubled the gap on Saturday night with a career-high 11 goal haul, guiding Geelong to a thumping 101 point victory over the Kangaroos.

It is the first time in Cameron's storied career that he has reached double digits, setting a new record for the most goals by a Geelong player in a game at Marvel Stadium, while also keeping his chances of reaching 100 goals this season well and truly alive.

But despite his extraordinary feat on Saturday night, the Cats spearhead was full of praise for his teammates and the performance of some other stars further up the field.

"I thought it was impressive right across the ground," Cameron told Cats Media.

"Our backs played really well, they were strong behind the ball and hard to play on, marked the footy well and then used it well back through our midfield.

"Our mids getting it into our forwards, I thought there was a really even spread throughout the game and that was something we spoke about during the week.

"Rolling into the back half of the season, that is how we want to play our football and we are looking forward to it.

"The challenge ahead is probably doing it on a consistent basis week in and week out."

It was another successful outing for Geelong's tall forward duo, with Shannon Neale also having a big impact on Saturday night kicking four goals and dishing off two goal assists.

Cameron and Neale have now kicked 100 goals between them in 2025, creating one of the best one-two punches in the competition.

"I love watching the way he goes about it, he does everything to a T," Cameron said about Neale.

"When he moves his feet and launches at the footy, he is hard to stop.

He is a massive kid, it is impressive when he is right up there and takes it at the highest point.

"It is great to watch and it is great for us forwards, when he doesn't mark it he brings it to the ground and then it brings in our smalls as well."

The big win over the Kangaroos moves the Cats back into the top four and increases their percentage, sitting in a good spot with a month remaining in the home and away season.

Geelong will return home for a two game home-stand in Rounds 21 and 22, taking on Port Adelaide and Essendon at GMHBA Stadium.

Cameron said it is a great chance for the side to build momentum, as they look to string together a solid run of form over the next four weeks.

"I think it is important to play the Cats way," Cameron said.

"That is being fierce around the football and winning it, sending it down our way and keeping it up there for long periods.

"We just look forward to the challenge, back on the track this week and we want to drive the standards and demand it from each other. That starts on the track and then hopefully transitions into games, so we look forward to that and hopefully it is a good month before Finals.

"There is a long way to go yet and it starts next week."
