Cameron on his bye week

Yeah it was good, just some family time for me.

I think that was the last week of the byes, it was sort of spread out this year so it was nice to finally have a bit of a rest.

A few days off goes very quickly and suddenly you are straight back here and into it.

So some family time for me, I got away in the caravan which is always nice and sat around the campfire, which is very unlike me.

Cameron on the takeaways from the season so far

It has been really positive obviously, it has been good.

We are 10-5 and we are playing a good brand of football, when we do play at our best. There is a lot of improvements to come as well, so we know there is a bit to work on.

But when you come up against any team at the moment, it feels like anyone can push you and challenge you on any given day. You have got to be at your best for long periods throughout the game to get the result.

It has been a good start and we are looking forward to the pointy end of it.

Cameron on his own form

From a numbers view it probably looks alright, but I think I have still been very inconsistent.

Especially to start off the year, I started a little bit slow and it took me a bit to get going but it was nice to get going off the back of that.

It is like how I summed up our season as a whole, it has been a little bit inconsistent at times but positive overall.

Cameron on his career outlook

I don't really sit back and put an endpoint on it, I haven't done that yet.

I have always loved the game and loved playing, I love training as well and I think you are over halfway there.

I have always said that I am probably not the greatest in long meetings and that sort of thing, but we do it really well here and that keeps me young and fresh along with the younger players as well. I really enjoy having a young group coming through that are so bubbly, there is always something going on.

Sometimes I sit back and they are playing all these different games and things, I remember when I used to do that but now I just don't have the energy for it.

Cameron on the challenge against Richmond

I look at Richmond and I sort of touched on it before, that any team can win on their day.

They have brought so much excitement to footy this year, the way they play they just go for it.

It is impressive to see the way they can move the ball and finish off, I think celebrating as one stands out to me for them when they do good things. As a young group it is important to stick together like that and really be present, enjoy the moment and that is someone I have always tried to carry through with my football.
