Staunton on the win over the Blues

It was so good. It's been something that we've been kind of working on the last couple of weeks and to just kind of have that click game, it was unreal and such a good feeling.

It was a complete team performance across all our lines.

It wasn't necessarily focusing on the mids, or the backs, or the forwards so to have that complete team performance was such a good feeling because it was something that we've been working on for so long.

Staunton on the Cats performance

At the end of the day, you have to be scoring to win games.

We did our review yesterday and our small forward's pressure was elite across all four quarters, so to have that and to be able to execute on the scoreboard is great for us.

The backs have been working really hard so for them to all bring their strengths on the weekend, it allowed them all to play their roles as well.

We saw a few players like Molly [Walton] having those run-and-carries and moments of breaking through, like Brooke Bailey through centre half back, it's such a good look for us and they've been working so hard.

Staunton on the team’s confidence

The girls are pumped.

We're all up and about and I feel like footy can be a game of momentum sometimes too.

So really making sure that we keep that energy and bring it towards this weekend, knowing that we still have to work hard for it.

There's a real lift in the group which is good.

Staunton on the pressure factor

Pressure is huge for us and that's something we really value in how we want to play.

I think moving forward the next couple of games we really just want to make sure that we can bring that.

It's important for us to bring it for four quarters, not just a few, that's going to be our focus moving forward.
