The Cats can provide the following GMHBA Health Update ahead of Geelong’s AFL and VFL bye this weekend.
On Saturday, Mitch Edwards made a successful return from a back injury via the VFL against Brisbane, playing in the second half, collecting three disposals and winning 10 hit-outs. The young tall is expected to play increased minutes in Round 15’s VFL game against Richmond.
In Round 15, the VFL Cats are also expected to be bolstered by the return of Cameron Guthrie from calf tightness, and potential debuts for 2024 draftees Jacob Molier and Lenny Hoffman, with the trio all listed one week away from returning.
Jhye Clark is continuing to progress through the AFL concussion protocol, with the Club to monitor him throughout the bye week and ahead AFL Round 17 and VFL Round 15.
Toby Conway remains three weeks away, with the young ruck aiming to feature the Round 17 VFL game against Collingwood on Saturday July 19, while Jake Kolodjashnij remains out indefinitely after a minor procedure last week to help manage ongoing groin symptoms.
The Cats return to GMHBA Stadium on Saturday 5 July to face Richmond at 4.35pm. Secure your ticket today via Ticketmaster.
