Geelong has named a strong side for their Round 13 VFL clash on Saturday, with 13 AFL-listed players selected to take on the Brisbane Lions at GMHBA Stadium. 

In exciting news for Cats fans, Jack Bowes is set to make his return after overcoming a hamstring injury he sustained in Geelong's Round 10 AFL game against Port Adelaide.

Mitch Edwards is set to make his 2025 season debut, while Keighton Matofai-Fobres and Nathan Kreuger round out the inclusions for Saturday's match. 

Ollie Henry comes out of the side after earning a recall to Geelong's AFL team, Jhye Clark will miss this week after entering concussion protocol, while Charlie McCartin and Kobe George will be managed. 

The VFL Cats will be looking to make it three consecutive wins this weekend, when they take on the Brisbane Lions at GMHBA Stadium from 11.05am AEST on Saturday. 

All matches in the 2025 Smithy’s VFL and VFLW seasons will also be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App.
