Essendon and Geelong will hold the 10th edition of the annual ‘Country Game’ clash at the MCG on Saturday afternoon.

Since 2016, the two clubs have come together to acknowledge the contribution of regional communities to Australian society, and to highlight the significant contribution of country people to Australian Rules football.

This year’s theme, Bush to the Burbs will celebrate the contribution of country footy to our great game with game day activations at the MCG.

The Country Game clash against the Bombers is the perfect time slot for the whole family, with the opening bounce at 4:15pm AEST.

The Tom Wills Award will once again be presented to the player deemed best on ground during Saturday's clash.

Cats fans are encouraged to get to the match earlier and soak up all the pre-game festivities, with MCC Gates open from 2:00pm and the General Public open from 2:30pm.

Tickets for the Round 14 Country Game against Essendon can be purchased here.
