Scott on flipping momentum in the fourth quarter

The last two goals of the third quarter obviously made it very interesting, but even before that we knew that they weren't going to go away.

They have got too many quality players and the way they play at the moment, they are just a consistent threat. They throw the ball around, which means that sometimes you are a chance to pressure well enough, but you know it is a really fine margin. When they get it through then they are dangerous.

I don't think either team would have been going in thinking that the high-scoring game was what they were after, but it just became clear that you weren't going to be able to keep the other team to a low score.

Our thinking was that we needed to stay proactive and keep looking to score, rather than shutting the game down.

Scott on Max Holmes' running goal

It is still one of the great parts of the game.

You often hear that coaches like the players that played the way they played, I am the opposite. I like the ones that do the stuff that I couldn't do, like taking however many bounces down the wing and knocking it over.

I have mentioned it before, we haven't always had the running power that we have in the team now. It has been a really interesting part of our evolution, because part of it has been deliberate.

But then guys like Ollie Dempsey, he came into our team as a basketballer, a Stephen Wells special and he just happens to be an elite runner as well. It has changed us a bit.

Scott on Jeremy Cameron's strong form

He is in really good physical shape, it is probably the best pre-season that he has had in his time with us so there is no doubt that helped.

I am loathed to go back to the last time we played them, but he was a bit disappointed with how we played and how he played in particular against the Dogs last year.

Maybe that was part of it, but he is in a rich vein of form that is for sure.

Scott on Shannon Neale's performance

He has got great potential.

He is an outstanding athlete, I hesitate to say unique because there are a lot of amazing athletes in the AFL at the moment. But track and field background, lightening quick, 203cm tall and a beautiful kick.

It is one thing being a nice technical kick and it is another thing being able to deliver in the close games when you really need to.

We have always been prepared to be patient with him, but I think we have moved past that stage where we are easing him into our team.

He is a pretty important part of what we do.
