The Match

Geelong will travel to Sydney on Sunday afternoon to take on the Swans, with the first bounce at 3.20pm.

The Cats currently sit third on the ladder with eight wins for the year, following a brilliant comeback victory over Richmond last week.

Sydney has been in fine form, sitting on top of the AFL ladder with 10 wins after having their bye last weekend.

This weekend will be another double header for Geelong, with the VFL Cats taking on the Swans at 11.35am before the AFL sides do battle.

Last Time We Met

The Cats travelled to the SCG in round 16 last year and fought out a draw (54 – 54), in a low scoring Friday night affair.

Geelong skipped out to an eight point lead with 10 minutes left in the game, as Sydney levelled the scores with just 30 seconds on the clock.

Tom Stewart received two Brownlow votes for his 25 disposal performance, while Zach Tuohy (28 disposals) and Gryan Miers (27 Disposals & 1 Goal) both starred in the draw.
