Max Holmes has continued his excellent start to the 2024 season, Friday night’s performance marking five consecutive weeks in the AFLCA votes.

Zach Guthrie has also continued his fine run of form, receiving three votes in his third haul of the last four weeks.

Tyson Stengle received praise from the coaches for his four-goal performance, the second time in 2024 he’s notched the four majors.

The Cats will this week fly to Darwin to take on the Gold Coast SUNS in the first week of Sir Doug Nichols Round, before returning to GMHBA Stadium to face the GIANTS in Round 11.

The AFL Coaches Association’s AFL Champion Player Award is an award voted by the 18 coaching panels on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis after each home and away game, acknowledging outstanding effort by an individual player in a season.
