GEELONG has made three changes to its side to face the Swans in Sydney, with tough midfielder Scott Selwood returning for his first hit-out of the year.

Selwood returns to the 22 alongside ruckman Zac Smith and defender Jack Henry who was managed for last week’s clash with the Hawks.

Smith comes into the side as a direct replacement for the omitted Rhys Stanley, while Zach Tuohy and Gary Rohan have both been managed and will miss this week’s encounter.

Selwood has been made to earn his place in the side after missing some football early in the year and has now played 11 VFL matches in 2019.

The 29-year-old Cat has been named in the best players in five of the Bendigo Bank Cats’ last six encounters.

Smith will line up for the Cats’ AFL side for just the second time this year and is unlucky to not have featured more, after acquitting himself well against the Swans in Stanley’s Round 11 absence.

Sunday's match at the SCG will commence at 3.20pm.
