Tyson Stengle has received the maximum 10 Coaches votes for his outing against the Lions on Saturday night, as Geelong left the Gabba 26-point victors.

Faced with soaking conditions, Stengle stood tall with a two-goal, 11-contested possession game, the latter a career high.

Zach Guthrie also received plaudits for his performance, with a game-high 737 metres gained and 21 disposals, his equal highest of the season to date.

Max Holmes has polled votes for the second consecutive week, while Brandan Parfitt rounded out the voting for Geelong.

The AFL Coaches Association’s AFL Champion Player Award is an award voted by the 18 coaching panels on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis after each home and away game, acknowledging outstanding effort by an individual player in a season.
