It is what everything has been built towards, September and finals greatness.

So who can come in and make a difference for Geelong in September?

Cam Guthrie
Guthrie missed the Lions game with a corked calf and will be crucial against the Dockers small forwards. Look for Guthrie’s name at the front of the Cats ins on Thursday night.

Shane Kersten
The Cats VFL goal-kicking machine was at it again in the first VFL final booting four goals in the Cats win. He is kicking a bag every game so will he get a finals debut?

George Horlin-Smith
Mr Reliable was again at his best on Friday night for the VFL side. 23 touches, three tackles and four clearances. If the Cats need a tough classy player he is ready to go.

Nathan Vardy
Vardy was cautiously managed on the weekend after pulling up sore from a knee to the hip against Sydney. Chris Scott is confident he is ready to go for the Dockers game.

Jordan Murdoch
Murdoch racked up 20 touches on the weekend and most interestingly half of them were hard ball gets. A devastating goal kicker, Murdoch can handle the big stage.

Josh Hunt
Hunt continues to do all the right things in the VFL with a spot in the backline in reach for him in the AFL side. Friday night saw him have 15 disposals along with six marks and eight tackles. There is no question he can seamlessly fit straight in.

Josh Walker
Walker alternated his time between forward and ruck for the Cats, finishing with 12 touches, six marks and two goals. Another who can come straight in without taking a backward step.
