GEELONG has named an unchanged lineup for its Round 19 clash with Brisbane at the Gabba on Saturday.

The fifth-placed Cats will enter the contest against the third-placed Lions full of confidence after a strong past month of football with three wins and a draw from their past four games.

"We feel like we are getting close to our best footy at the right time of the year," coach Chris Scott told media at Wednesday's press conference.

"It would have been nice to have produced it a little bit earlier, had a bit more continuity, been a bit higher on the ladder, all those sorts of things, but we feel like we are heading in well prepared and confident to play one of the best teams in the competition."

Saturday's game will be a special one for Tom Atkins who will play his 100th AFL game.

"It feels to a lot of people like the 100 games has come pretty quickly, but when you work through Tom's path to 100 games, it has been a long hard road and he deserves every bit of it," Scott said.

"He is just crucial to what we're trying to be, not only as a football team but a football club."
