Nine Geelong Cats players have shared the votes between them in the Round 17 AFL Coaches' Association Champion Player of the Year voting.

It was an all-Cats cast in the voting, with Tom Atkins leading the way with six votes.

Atkins brought the pressure with a game-high 14 tackles against North Melbourne on Sunday, as well as collecting 25 disposals, seven clearances and five intercept possessions.

Gryan Miers and Mitch Duncan weren't far behind in the votes, polling five apiece.

Miers, who has signed a three-year contract extension with the Cats, amassed a career-high 32 disposals on Sunday and a game-high 11 marks, with another two goal assists taking him to 28 for the year to date - comfortably the most in the league.

Duncan, who was particularly prominent early as Geelong fought its way to ascendancy in the match, finished with 30 disposals, eight marks, five tackles and three clearances, and had eight score involvements.

Patrick Dangerfield was dynamic, with some of his explosive bursts on display in his 26-disposal, nine-clearance and eight-tackle game, and he caught the coaches' eyes, receiving four votes.

Defender Jack Henry also polled four votes, with a strong defensive display, including seven contested possessions among his 12 disposals, as well as seven intercept possessions and five marks.

Tyson Stengle (five goals, 15 disposals) and Tom Stewart (26 disposals, nine marks, nine intercepts) both received two votes, while Jack Bowes (25 disposals, 10 marks) and Ollie Henry (four goals, 14 disposals) rounded out the voting with one apiece.
