The AFL advises the Match Review of the Round 8 Saturday games has been completed. 

Brad Close is facing a one match ban for rough conduct (first offence). Close was cited for a dangerous tackle on Jordan Dawson during the fourth quarter of Geelong's Round 8 clash with Adelaide on Saturday.

The incident was assessed as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact. Resulting in a one-game sanction.

The Club has elected to challenge the one-match sanction offered to Close.
