Sam Simpson has been named as a late change for Geelong, replacing Jonathon Ceglar in the Cats' line-up to face Sydney Swans at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday night.
It will be Simpson's first game in 603 days, with his last appearance in an official AFL match being the 2021 Qualifying Final against Port Adelaide.
The Cats have also confirmed Mitch Knevitt will be the sub for the Round 6 clash.
