Parents, save the date: the GMHBA Healthy Heroes Parents Event will return in-person this year during Term 4.

Slated for Wednesday, November 9 at 4pm, the FREE one-hour event features a range of activities for parents/carers and children to complete together as a team, with a focus on resilience-building.

There will also be yummy, healthy snacks available, and special goodies to collect along the way to take home.

The GMHBA Healthy Heroes Parents Event is complementary to the school-based program, which is delivered to primary school students across the Greater Geelong Region.

GMHBA Healthy Heroes, which has tailored programs from Foundation through to Grade 6, focuses on positive behaviour change across the key areas of physical activity, healthy eating, hydration, screen time, sleep and mental health and wellbeing.

The parents event will take place in the Deakin Cats Community Centre, on the ground floor of the Players Stand at GMHBA Stadium. Please register your interest to secure your place.
