Neale celebrates his one goal for the afternoon.

Promising Cats big man Shannon Neale has been named to play this weekend against Box Hill, as the Bankers look to make it two on the trot at Box Hill City Oval on Saturday afternoon.

Neale, who was taken with the 33rd selection at the 2020 NAB AFL Draft, was concussed in Geelong’s Round 19 loss but has since cleared health and safety protocols to be named at centre half forward alongside Shaun Higgins, who’ll make his second appearance in a row at VFL level after a knee procedure.

The Cats are currently in 14th place on the Smithy's VFL ladder with seven wins and nine losses, while Box Hill will be playing for a spot in the top four when the ball is bounced at 2.05pm on Saturday.
