Mark Blicavs was the best player on the ground on Saturday night during the Cats’ XX win over Carlton according to the coaches.

Blicavs received nine votes for his lockdown performance of Carlton skipper Patrick Cripps, while also picking up 20 disposals, and five clearances of his own. He got his hands on eight hitouts when he went into the ruck.

Geelong skipper Joel Selwood was awarded six votes after a 25 disposal, nine marks, and 10 score involvements, while Zach Tuohy, Jeremy Cameron, and Sam De Koning round out the vote-getters for Geelong.

Cameron is the highest ranked Cat on the AFLCA Leaderboard in seventh spot with 67 votes.
