GEELONG has made one change to its Round 11 team that will host Adelaide at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday.

Gryan Miers has been named in the best 22 this week replacing the injured Patrick Dangerfield who is set for a stint on the sidelines.

Miers featured in last week's victory against Port Adelaide after coming on as a substitute late in the game.

The 23-year-old has a decent record against the Crows with six goals and four goal assists from the four times he has faced them.

Miers is averaging 13.3 disposals per game this season playing further afield where he has been using his elite endurance as a link player and providing space for Geelong's deeper forwards to lead into.

After a five-goal performance in the VFL last round Shannon Neale joins Luke Dahlhaus, Mitch Knevitt and Quinton Narkle as the emergencies this week.

Saturday's Sir Doug Nicholls Round clash at GMHBA Stadium will get underway from 1.45pm.

Geelong will name its medical substitute an hour prior to the first bounce.
