GEELONG will be out to break their early season trend with back-to-back victories for the first time this season when it takes on North Melbourne in Round 7 of the VFL this Saturday at Arden Street.

The Cats sit 10th on the ladder with a 3-2 record after six rounds, just outside the top eight on percentage and a win against the Roos could see them jump back into a finals spot.

Geelong's hopes of back-to-back victories will be strengthened by the return of Luke Dahlhaus and Oliver Dempsey after both players were omitted from the AFL team. Esava Ratugolea has also been named on Geelong's interchange.

The Bendigo Bank Cats will have three VFL debutants in action - Daniel Weigl, Darby Schilder and Will Christie.

Christie gets an opportunity in place of Ryan Abbott in the ruck, while Schilder and Weigl will strengthen the Cats in the key defensive posts.

Geelong's Round 7 clash against North Melbourne will commence at 3.05pm and you can watch live coverage here.
