Geelong will welcome Liv Barber back to its line-up to take on GWS Giants on Friday night in the Cats’ final game for AFLW Season 6.
Barber missed last week’s game against St Kilda under the league’s concussion protocols, which stipulate a player must be sidelined for at least 12 days.
The dynamic forward/ruck comes into the line-up for Claudia Gunjaca (omitted).
Friday night’s game will also mark Amy McDonald’s 25th game of AFLW. The reigning club Best and Fairest has played every game possible since making her debut in Round 1, 2020.
The Cats are set to host the Giants in the club’s annual Djilang Match at GMHBA Stadium on Friday night, with an earlier start time of 6.10pm AEDT.
