Parents and guardians are invited to a special series of bite-sized GMHBA Healthy Heroes Zoom workshops next week.

The free 20-minute sessions feature a range of special guests, including renowned psychologist Dr Michael Carr-Gregg, Healthy Heroes staff and AFLW  players.

Led by Cats Community Education Coordinator Jessica Taylor, the workshops will explore wellbeing and positive parenting with the PERMAH model.

The sessions will run from Monday, 18 October until Friday, 22 October on Zoom, starting at 12pm each day.

Wellbeing and mental health form a key focus of the GMHBA Healthy Heroes Program, which is delivered to primary schools across the Geelong region.

The parent series is designed to complement the suite of school-based programs, which are delivered to students in Foundation through to Grade 6, with a focus on healthy eating, active lifestyles, and mental health and wellbeing.
