Midfielder Quinton Narkle has agreed to a one year contract extension with the Cats.

Narkle was originally selected by Geelong with the 60th pick in the 2016 national draft. He debuted in 2018 and has played 33 games and kicked 14 goals.

The 23 year old played 16 times in 2021 and gathered 215 possessions. He had a career best 34 disposals in the round 10 win over Gold Coast.

“The club is excited that Quinton has committed to 2022 and we believe he will play a significant role,” Geelong’s general manager of football Simon Lloyd said.

“While there has been speculation about Quinton potentially leaving, our conversations throughout the year have been extremely positive."
