Gate 13 will be open from 12.00pm for the VFL. All Gates will be open from 2.35pm.

Seating will be in the Brownlow Stand. Following the VFL match, patrons will need to move to their allocated seat for the AFL game. 

The Social Club will be open to Social Club and 1859 Members from 12.00pm.

AFL Tickets

Tickets are on sale for Saturday's clash with the Kangaroos, follow the link below to secure your seat through Ticketmaster. 

Members, make sure to download your tickets from the Cats app prior to arriving at GMHBA Stadium.

VFL Ticketing

Ticket holders for the AFL match have entry included for the VFL game. All patrons must hold a ticket to the AFL game to access the VFL match. Follow the Get Tickets link below to secure your ticket through Ticketmaster.

Travelling by Train

Train services as per usual timetable.
 
After the game:
Additional train departs Waurn Ponds at 7.33pm. This train will stop at South Geelong, Geelong, North Geelong, North Shore, Lara, Little River, Wyndam Vale, Tarneit and Deer Park, arriving at Southern Cross at 8.57pm.

🚊 Train Disruptions:

  • Buses replace trains on the Frankston Line between Cheltenham and Frankston from 10.30pm Thursday 30 April to 8.30pm Monday 18 May.
  • Buses replace trains on the Stony Point Line between Frankston and Stony Point from 10.30pm Thursday 30 April to last train Wednesday 20 May.

🚗 Road disruptions:

  • Springvale Road entry ramp to the Eastern Freeway citybound is closed from 10pm, Friday May 1 to 5am, May 4.
  • Greensborough Bypass closed in both directions between Grimshaw Street and the M80 Interchange from 9pm, Friday 1 May to 5am, Monday 4 May.
  • Princes Freeway Warragul-bound exit ramp closed at Clyde Road, Berwick from 5am, Monday 20 April to 5am, Saturday 30 May. 
  • No right turn from Clyde Road, Berwick onto Princes Freeway citybound entry ramp until late 2026. 

VFL Curtain Raiser

Prior to the AFL match on Saturday, Geelong's VFL team will be in action at GMHBA Stadium in a curtain-raising clash against North Melbourne. 

Ticket holders for the AFL match will get entry included into the VFL game, make sure to arrive early and see some of the Cats' young stars on display.

Geelong's Round 8 match will be broadcast on Fox Footy and streamed through Kayo from 4.30pm AEST, ahead of the opening bounce at 4.35pm. 

Cats fans can also listen to all the action on K rock from 3.00pm AEST, tune in via FM 95.5 across Geelong & the Surf Coast, the K rock app or the AFL app.
