Ageing like a fine wine, Tom Hawkins found a way to produce another brilliant season in 2022, leading the Cats for goalkicking (67) and finishing equal-third in the Coleman Medal leaderboard alongside teammate Jeremy Cameron, with both kicking 59 goals across the home and away season. Remarkably, Hawkins was also second in league for goal assists, with 27 for the year, as his unselfish play again came to the fore. Post-season foot surgery saw Hawkins complete a reduced pre-season, but the experienced forward will be looking to make another big impact in 2023.
