“Sam is an important player for us and he has turned himself into a player who is strong inside the contest as a midfielder and hard running on the outside as an influential winger,” Geelong’s general manager of football Simon Lloyd said.

“Sam works as hard as any player and his dedication to his fitness and his craft has paid off. Sam has exceptional skills and bravery and is a professional in every sense of the word. It’s great for all parties that we have been able to agree to this extension.”
