Patrick Dangerfield's Brownlow Medal celebrations lasted well into the night, the superstar midfielder has revealed.

"We celebrated long, hard and late," Dangerfield said at a media call in Melbourne on Tuesday morning.

"It was a good night, a bit of a whirlwind with some nerves through the count, but great to celebrate with everyone."

Dangerfield celebrated his achievement with players from a range of clubs, including some of his former teammates from Adelaide.

He has now set his sights on producing another performance of note when the Cats hold their Wacky Wednesday festivities.

"I think that’s one of the things that Geelong do better than anyone, so I’m a little bit nervous about tomorrow," Dangerfield said.

"I think Jimmy Bartel’s apparently got something pretty good in store, so it’ll take a lot to beat him tomorrow."
