Enjoyed an encouraging season in which he matched up on players of all sizes. Was rewarded for his efforts with the Best Young Player award at the ‘Carji’ Greeves Medal night.

A very impressive first campaign with the Cats in which he missed just one game. Showed an ability to have an impact around the ground and even snuck forward and booted a few goals. Finished 10th in the best and fairest.

Produced a series of sensational performances across the first two-thirds of the season. Was unlucky to be struck down by groin soreness in the latter rounds, which saw him miss a number of games, including the preliminary final. Still ended up third on the Cats’ goalkicking table.

Was a regular member of the Cats’ AFL team in the first half of the season, then played some great games as an inside midfielder in the VFL in the latter half.

Had an encouraging first season at the Cats, plying his trade in the VFL and making an impact both up forward and in the ruck.
