Geelong are set for Thursday night's blockbuster clash at the MCG, making just the one change as they prepare to take on Collingwood in a crucial match for both clubs.

Experienced forward Jack Martin returns to the line-up after missing the last two weeks, set to play his first AFL match since the Round 18 clash against the GWS Giants.

Martin featured for the VFL Cats last Saturday and impressed in their win over Casey, collecting 14 disposals and kicking a game-high four goals before earning a recall to tackle the Magpies.

The lone out for Geelong is Patrick Dangerfield who will be managed this week, with the skipper set to miss his first game since the Cats' Gather Round clash with West Coast.
