The AFLPA has announced their nominees for the 2025 AFL Players' AFLW MVP Awards, presented by KPMG, which are voted on by the AFLW playing group. 

The four categories included the AFL Players' Most Valuable Player Award, the Best First Year Player Award, the Most Courageous Player Award and the Best Captain Award. 

Following today's announcement, the awards will take place on the evening of Tuesday 25th November.

Geelong have three nominations in the AFLPA's MVP category with Georgie Prespakis, Nina Morrison and Mikayla Bowen all in the running for the top honour.

It follows on from Geelong's AFLW Best and Fairest last Saturday where Prespakis (winner), Morrison (runner-up) and Bowen (third) all finished on the podium.

Emma Kilpatrick has been recognised for her brilliant debut season in the Hoops, nominated as Geelong's Best First Year Player. 

Claudia Gunjaca has been nominated for the Most Courageous Player Award, while Meg McDonald will be the Cats representative in the Best Captain Award.
