Shaun Mannagh’s brilliant commitment to the community has seen the second-year Cat recognised as Geelong’s AFL Carter Family Community Champion for 2025.

Mannagh’s involvement in Cats Community programs has been far-reaching as he has exemplified what it truly means to be a community champion, with his impact felt by young fans, families and members.

Turning up with a smile, positive attitude and genuine pride in taking part as an AFL player and role model, Mannagh’s consistent presence across a range of community initiatives has made a strong impression on the wider Geelong community.

Mannagh has actively participated in initiatives such as junior club visits and The Resilience Project, demonstrating a genuine commitment to making a positive impact by leading in this space.

He has also had positive, lasting influence on people going through times of hardship he has met through the Club’s Cats Wishes and Ward Walks programs.

He has also thrown his energy into junior club visits, junior member clinics, school holiday programs, BioCATS and member recognition events, among other programs.

Outside of the Club’s community programs, Mannagh has also assisted with junior coaching at South Barwon, sharing his enthusiasm for coaching, educating and engaging with the next generation of footballers to nurture future talent.

Mannagh joins the likes of Tom Hawkins, Joel Selwood, Tom Stewart, Harry Taylor and Cameron Ling among Geelong Cats Club Community Champions.
