Geelong will welcome back some experienced players as it looks to fight its way back onto the winners list when it takes on Collingwood in the VFLW on Sunday.

AFLW-listed Gabbi Featherston has been named in the team, while Charlotte Simpson returns from representative duties to bolster the Cats' on-ball division.

Liv Cicolini is back after missing the past two clashes through injury, while Hannah Burchell has been named to play her first game for season 2023.

Burchell, who was on Geelong's VFLW list in 2017 and 2018 and AFLW list in 2019, returned to the Cats' VFLW program this year after four seasons on Richmond's VFLW list.

The pacy midfielder will make her return from an ACL injury in the clash at the AIA Centre, giving Geelong an extra boost of experience at the pointy end of the season.

Bree Beckley and Molly Walton are both unavailable for the clash, while Laura Ryan and Elise Vella have been omitted, moving to Geelong's list of emergencies for the clash.

First bounce is at 10am on Sunday at the AIA Centre, Melbourne Olympic Park. For those unable to attend, the match will be streamed live and free on the official AFL App and Website.
