Chris Scott on... Patrick Dangerfield

From our conversations it's all looking really positive in terms of him playing as he said and as you said, he's got to train today, which is a normal process, but it was a really conservative call to take him out last week.

We absolutely reserve our right to be really conservative again if need be, but we just don't see any reason to think that that would be the case at the moment.

Chris Scott on... potential team changes this week

One or two I think right at the moment, we're just waiting on a bit more information today. I think it'll be at this stage unlikely that Isaac Smith will make the trip. That's the one we've got some certainty on, but the other selection issues are still to be worked through at the moment.

Chris Scott on... Gary Rohan

Gary is been fine right through the protocols and covered off all the criteria really well. Like every other player who hasn't had main training yet, he's still got to tick a box, but the expectation all along has been that he'll be fine and no reason to change our view.

Chris Scott on... how Geelong can improve

Here we're on that endless search for perfection. We think there are multiple areas across our game that we can improve. I try to take our focus into the last two games that we want to work on our game, whilst being respectful of what the opposition can bring as well, which is our process every week.

We never go in saying that 'we don't care what the opposition do, we're just going to play our game'. We're always conscious of the tweaks that you need to make depending on the strengths of the opposition.

I think that it becomes a bit more of an individual focus. How can those individuals sort of get their game in really good shape? So yeah, we're looking forward to that chance to really hone our game collectively and individually over the last two rounds.

Chris Scott on... Sam De Koning lining up against Mabior Chol

Yeah or (Levi) Casboult who's a really big strong key forward clunking mark. They are a nice combination at the moment those two. So, Sam, Jack Henry, (Jake) Kolodjashnij and Tom Stewart all have their hands full no doubt. (Izak) Rankine isn't a bad player either.
