Cameron Taheny has been included in Geelong's Round 12 VFL team to host Essendon at GMHBA Stadium on Friday.

Taheny has been sidelined with a hamstring injury and returns to the lineup for the first time since Round 4.

The match will commence at 4.10pm Friday afternoon as a curtain-raiser ahead of the annual Powercor Country Festival blockbuster between Geelong and Essendon at 7.50pm.
