KEY POSITION trio Jeremy Cameron, Steven May and Jack Riewoldt have escaped suspensions, with the Match Review Panel handing out $5000 in fines in the final week of JLT Community Series matches.

Cameron was charged with striking North Melbourne defender Scott Thompson after he was baited into retaliating against the backman in Friday's clash at Manuka Oval.

The MRP graded the strike as intentional conduct with low impact to the body, resulting in a $1500 fine that can be reduced to $1000 with an early guilty plea.

May faced a nervous wait for the MRP's Monday findings after making glancing high contact to Western Bulldogs big man Tom Boyd in Thursday's clash at Metricon Stadium.

The Panel assessed the incident and said "the high contact that was made was unavoidable and May did not elect to bump", taking no further action.

As expected, Riewoldt's match-day report for rough conduct on Collingwood's Jackson Ramsay was also thrown out.

The Panel spoke to reporting umpire Robert Findlay and declared the Tigers forward had "slowed down when he realised he could not take the mark" and contact was made to Ramsay's chest.

"The contact was not unreasonable in the circumstances," the Panel said in its findings.

Geelong midfielder Mitch Duncan was charged with engaging in rough conduct for a high bump on Essendon forward Joe Daniher.

Duncan, who made contact to Daniher's head with his shoulder, was saved by a low impact grading, with the incident graded as careless conduct, resulting in a $1000 fine with an early guilty plea.

Port Adelaide defender Hamish Hartlett has also been offered a $1000 fine for striking Hawthorn captain Jarryd Roughead in Sunday's clash at Noarlunga.

Hartlett was charged with striking, with the blow – which forced Roughead from the ground – graded as careless conduct with low impact to the body.

GWS forward Toby Greene has been offered a $1000 fine for misconduct towards North Melbourne's Sam Wright. The pair was grappling in the forward pocket early in the fourth quarter when Greene appeared to strike his opponent.

North Melbourne's Jy Simpkin was charged with striking GWS tall Adam Tomlinson, with the incident graded as careless conduct with low impact to the body.

Simpkin can accept a $1000 fine with an early guilty plea.

The MRP assessed a tripping charge against Fremantle's Jon Griffin and a collision between North Melbourne's Shaun Higgins and GWS forward Steve Johnson, but took no further action in each case.
