Geelong has made four changes to its side to take on Collingwood on Friday night at the MCG.

Mitch Clark, Rhys Stanley, Nakia Cockatoo and Josh Cowan come into the side at the expense of Dawson Simpson, Josh Walker and George Horlin-Smith who have all been omitted and James Kelly who is recovering from testicle surgery.

Kelly speaks on surgery

Clark and Stanley missed last week’s win over Richmond with injury whilst Cockatoo and Cowan both played in the VFL side’s win over the Tigers.

The match will be Tom Lonergan's 150th for the club.

Remarkably, the side to take the field tomorrow night will only have 11 players in it who played in the Cats round three clash with the Pies last year.

Josh Cowan’s long comeback

Simpson, Walker and Horlin-Smith will all be emergencies for the game.

The Cats and Pies have a long history at the MCG including the Cats thrilling 2007 preliminary final win and the three clashes with the Pies in 2011.
