Geelonghas locked up Mitch Duncan, Josh Caddy and Tom Lonergan, with the trio agreeingto contract extensions with the club.

 Witha year remaining on their previous contracts, Duncan and Caddy have both signedthree-year deals which will see them remain with the club until at least theend of 2018.

Lonergan,who also has a year remaining on his previous contract, has signed aone-year contract extension, and will remain a Cat until at least the end of2016.

Recruitedat pick 28 in the 2009 national draft, Duncan has proved himself as ahard-running midfielder over his five years at Simonds Stadium.

A2011 premiership player, the 23-year-old joined the player leadership group atthe beginning of 2014, proving his potential as a young leader both on and offthe field.

Duncanenjoyed a breakout 2014 season which saw him take his game to the next leveland finish third in the club’s ‘Carji’ Greeves medal.

Caddyjoined the club from the Gold Coast Suns at the end of 2012 after initiallybeing selected at pick 7 in the 2010 national draft.

Caddy,22, has matured into a strong inside player in the team’s midfield group overhis first two seasons.

Strong,physical and exciting, Caddy made an impressive return to the AFL in round 14of this year after missing 8 weeks with a broken foot.

Lonergan’scontract extension will see him continue in the mighty blue and white until theend of 2016, his 14th season with the club.

Despitea major kidney injury in 2006, Lonergan has become a vital cog in the team’sbackline, playing 145 games including a premiership in 2011.
