One of the big positives to come from Geelong's 2025 Finals campaign was the emergence of Jhye Clark, who seized his opportunity and impressed on the biggest stage.
Spending the majority of the season with the VFL Cats, Clark took his game to new heights and found the footy with ease at the level, averaging 28 disposals per game across his 10 appearances.
Late in the VFL season, he dominated against North Melbourne collecting 25 disposals and kicking two goals in difficult conditions, which earned him a spot as Geelong's starting substitute in the Qualifying Final.
Clark was called on early in the Cats' Preliminary Final against Hawthorn and took his opportunity with both hands, finishing with 14 disposals and four clearances to have a significant impact in the victory.
With valuable Finals experience under his belt and heading into his fourth season at the club in 2026, Clark will certainly be one to watch as he looks to cement his place in the Cats' starting line-up.
